Probs playing songs
OK, so now i'm learning a bit more about linux, got a new idea... my tunes are stored on an NTFS partition, which i created back in my Windows days for tunes, photos etc. Is it that Guayadeque might have a prob reading such a partition?

no. If guayadeque created collection that means that it can read NTFS.

I've now followed the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Mount ... Partitions, which told me how to configure /etc/fstab to mount my docs partition (upon which all my music files are stored) automatically at startup, and haven't had the problem with Guayadeque since.
Coincidence is not necessarily causation, but i'm sufficiently satisfied to mark this thread [SOLVED], if only i could figure out how to do that!
