Steps I take:
1:Click Collection
2:Click Clooection;
3: on the left click add path: "Holden(An external USB DRive)>Click Audio
4)Click Accept

At this point I'd expect to see my (fairly large collection;6103 items, totalling 68.7 GB) start to show up. But nothing happens.
Please tell me what I've missed -i;ll be forever in your dept :)

For Guayadeque 0.3.5, I did it like this:
- Open the Preferences window (menu View->Preferences)
- Choose Collections in the left pane.
- Highlight My Music in the Collections pane
- Click on the + button at the right of the Paths pane
- Navigate with the File browser dialog to the folder containing your music.

This is how I added my Music folder to Guayadeque. However, as I am also new to Guayadeque, I can't tell you wether this is also the recommended way to do it.

that's not fairly large :)
anyway, have you try to rescan after that? I'm not sure since I always copy my .guayadeque folder with settings and everything but I think that after you choose the path you have to manually rescan collection. There is the option to automatically update collection on each startup but also, I'm not sure if it's turned on by default.

Same problem here, I add a path as Ludi said, clicked on rescan (although I know it does it automatically, it did it before anyway) and nothing happen.

The path is like this: /media/Documentos/Media/Música
First I thought it was because of the accent and renamed "música" to "Audio" but no luck either.
I did a test with copiyng some files to the music folder in my home folder and that worked.
Media is on a NTFS partition, mounted automatically at startup.
If I browse a file and right click "play with Guayadeque" it plays it.
I love Guayadeque really and did not had that problem on Ubuntu 12.04. Now I installed Ubuntu 13.10

Seem I have solved my problem deleting the .guayadeque folder and launching the player again. It came up with a bug and a problem, I ignored it, restarted the application and now all seems fine. My layout which I had saved before deleting the folder, did not load as it was saved though.

The layours and all guayadeque configuration are inside the folder you deleted.
