Hey Guys don't know if someone has the same problem, but after updating on Ubuntu 11.10 Guayadeque didn't run. After deinstalling and removing .guayadeque in the home direction and reinstalling it runs. I googled the last 4 hours and don't want that anyone have to google as long as me.
Greetings

Okay, the problem is again. After restarting the system, Guayadeque doesn't work anymore. I can't deinstall, delete the .guayadeque folder and reinstall everytime. My settings after the last reinstall: double click puts a song in the queue. save track position for songs longer than two minutes. Is the last thing maybe the problem?

What version of guayadeque are you using? I run guayadeque svn in 11.10 with no problems. If you downloaded from the repositories that's an old thing.

Update on Ubuntu 11.10
I've just tried the version in the repositories of Ubuntu 11.10, 0.3.1-1639, and it works fine. The only problem I found is that it was hard to make the Browser scroll because the slider did not get the focus, but at some point it did.
If you don't change those option, does it work fine?

Update on Ubuntu 11.10
I have Ubuntu 64bit installed with Guayadeque version 0.3.1~dfsg0-1 (oneric) from Ubuntu 11.10 and it crashes on start with "*** glibc detected *** guayadeque: corrupted double-linked list: 0x0000000001b5f1d0 ***". tried re-install and deleted .guayadeque but didn't solve the problem.
Then I removed it and installed the natty version 0.3.1-natty2 from the ppa http://ppa.launchpad.net/anonbeat/guayadeque/ubuntu and this seems to work.

I tried the 32bit version. It would be nice if you can try the svn version to check if the problem is still there or it has been fixed already.

Update on Ubuntu 11.10
In Kubuntu 11.10, I can tell that Guayadeque is not able to see the Portable Devices. It worked back on Kubuntu 11.04, but now it is only aware that "a device got conected", but it does not detect its mount point.
I first tough it was a problem with my compilation, or either with something missing with libgpod... but even with the binary on Ubuntu repositories happens the same... while with gtkpod and Clementine (compiled by me also) I was able to see the device with no problems and even read its contents.
Someone knows how to troubleshot this? Or even someone have a problem like this?
Thanks in advance.
