FLAC problem

I've been using GD for over a year now and it really is a great app. My favorite music player, really. Congrats anonbeat.

Still when I play a FLAC album, GD almost always, plays some songs and randomly skips others. In earlier releases, there was a gstreamer error reported when this happened, but now (Guayadeque 3.1, Ubuntu 10.04) it just skips a random song or two songs and continues playing.

Here is a list of my gstreamer related files:

dpkg --get-selections |grep gstreamer
bluez-gstreamer install
gstreamer0.10-alsa install
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg install
gstreamer0.10-gnonlin install
gstreamer0.10-nice install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-apps install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-good install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly install
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse install
gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio install
gstreamer0.10-tools install
gstreamer0.10-x install
libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 install
libgstreamer0.10-0 install

Is there a solution to this problem?

TIA

Try disabling lyrics target Embed to audio files. I will make a fix of this problem soon.

I said I'll report back so...

I'm about 3/4 thru a 14-song FLAC album and so far, I've heard all the songs in a playlist.

Thanks anon, your solution worked :)

No problem,

I just don't like any other music player in Linux...

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That problem nearly drove me crazy!

Now it's fun to use guayadeque, again.

By the way: It's the best software to manage your music collection with Linux.

@anonbeat: You deserve my honest respect for bringing out such a great program.
