When I try to set up a podcast it will try to download virtually all the back podcasts available--even if I limit it by deleting after a few days.

There doesn't appear to be a way to limit these time consuming useless downloads of old programs except by going completely manual and even that doesn't appear to be foolproof.

There should be a way to limit the number to X number of most recent podcasts.

Try to add that idea to the idea torrent so other users can vote it

I don't personally use this feature but when working on the documentation I tried it out and I found the same issue: you either download manually or start filling your hard-drive with gigabites. Don't you think it should be a standard feature to to able to limit the initial downloads to x number of podcasts.

The issue is not important when you've been using a subscription for a while but when you first subscribe is not really good.

Added suggestion to idea torrent, what now?
