My Guayadeque don't start when I press the launcher ( applications -> sound & video -> guayadeque music player ). Where is the problem? It is like my computer doesn't react at all. There is no "loading sound" from my computer after pressing the launcher. I haven't changed any options or codes.

Please help.

Can you try launching it from the command line?
Go to the terminal and type
guayadeque
press enter, then copy all the output and paste it here.

BTW, how did you install guayadeque and what version is it?

Well now it starts. I don't understand :S. My Ubuntu works just like Windows. If I have a problem it CAN be sometimes solved simply by restarting the whole system.

I installed Guayadeque by following this http://guayadeque.org/forums/index.php? ... InstallSVN

Program versio is 0.2.8-1406

The SVN version is now on 1040 so you could try updating (in a terminal copy and paste):

cd guayadeque
svn update
./build
sudo make install

If this doesn't work right-click on your menus in the panel, go to guayadeque and edit. As command reintroduce "guayadeque"

On a different note: if you want to have a very recent version but don't want to update manually regularly you might be better off installing the svn version through the repositories so you'll get the updates automatically:
