Is it possible to create a playlist with only a certain type

I need to create a playlist for my ipod shuffle (so mp3 only)
My library is mixed format.
How do I specify mp3 only or convert on send to ipod?

Right click over the ipod library and select 'Collection' -> Properties
From that dialog select the audio format to mp3

I don't seem to have that option.
In Right click/Portable Device/properties/Ipod I have transcode set to unsupported formats. But with I have a playlist of 450Mb only 350Mb is sent to the ipod.

Just retrying with conversion set to High rather than keep to see if it copies it all over.

Edit:-
Nope my playlist has 67 tracks in it, but only 64 are copied over.

in the properties, mp3, m4a
In the playlist mp3 & flack

Version 0.3.2 btw.
Hmm now it says 65 files, could be that it is still converting? Nothing is showing on the screen.

If you just need mp3 files remove from audio formats the m4a format and select transcode to mp3 and select 'Unsupported formats only' so the mp3s are not transcoded.

Ok will remove the m4a as I don't listed to books on the shuffle. But the unsupported only is already selected.

Isn't there anyway to see the conversion queue? It seems to take a long time to transcode the few files that are in flac to mp3.

Ok re-created the playlist. 73 tracks @ 430Mb
Only 4 are flac rest are mp3

But it says sending 64 tracks ...

It also keeps quitting on me after sending the files.

How do I export the playlist? When I try to export all I get is a m3u file with the music files in it, not the playlist file.
