iPod Classic

First thanks for the best music player in ubuntu, and now here comes the problem. I've got an iPod Classic 6G and when I try to sync it with guayadeque the files are copied to the folder specified but them won't appear in the iPod. I have follow the instruction on the youtube video about creating plalists and nothing happens. Is there any workaround?

Are you sure your ipod is identified by guayadeque as an iPod ? to be sure when you open the iPod device library and go to the device properties you can see only two tabs ( Audio and Covers ) and not three like regular portable devices.

I never tested the libgpod library with iPod classic 6 but with an iPod nano 5G its working just fine. The demo you seen was done with it.

Can you test if with gtkpod you can manage it ?

I see three tabs so I guess it's not identified as an iPod. I can manage with gtkpod and with rhythmbox aswell
