It would be great if you could copy or move an album to another collection. That way you could create separate collections from the main one. For instance for transfer to a portable device or just to hide away listen that you are bored with for the moment.

Also it would be great if the collections could be avilable as tabs in the main browser window. It would make it easy to switch between collections.

Perhaps implement drag-and-drop to another collection that way?

I dont understand why you are asking for this. All the features you request are implemented already.
You can transfer tracks from one collection to another in different ways. The main one using the 'Copy to...' option. Also drag and drop is supported.
Every collection is available to show as a tab like your regular collection. To show it just go to Collections -> Collection Name -> Show and a new tab will show up with the collection you selected.
