I don't know about the first one (probably not).

You can search for just the artist by right clicking on the artist and choose the search. Unfortunately it is not the same for the album as the search will include the artist as well.

1.- Right now the album is saved into the album directory using the first word in your list of words to detect covers. There is a planned feature that allow to set a pattern to the covers so when this is implemented you will be able to do it. That will solve the issue some ppl are having with covers having different albums in the same folder .

2.- I dont know exactly what links you are talking about. If you dont mind please explain it with more detail.

Thanks for your help

Hi thanks for both answers,
About the links, this are in preferences and we can make our links for example this that I made for discogs:

http://www.discogs.com/search?q={text}&btn=&type=all

if I launch it from the artits column, so the link are

http://www.discogs.com/search?q={artist}&btn=&type=all

but if I launch thist from album column the result is

http://www.discogs.com/search?q={artis +album}&btn=&type=all

and some sites can't search with both values (is more problem from the sites :) ). Anyway is not a real problem...

thanks

I think that makes sense that an album is more defined by artist+album than album alone. Think for example the album 'The Best Of' of xxx there can be tons of albums with that name so the artist defines the search too.

You can even launch the search from the artist.
