So, it seems that there is a crash bug in both the latest stable version of Guayadeque as well as the latest svn snapshot regarding rearranging Library View panes. I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what causes it. Sometimes it crashes when I rearrange panes, and sometimes it doesn't.
When I run Guayadeque from a terminal emulator and reproduce the crash conditions, it gives this error:
The program 'guayadeque' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 17957 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0)
This is both a bug report and an information request. Would you please let me know what source files handle Library View panes so that I can take a look? There is some additional functionality I would like to add
1. the ability to split any pane vertically and horizontally
2. The Playlist and Now Playing should also be made into panes for maximum customizability of the UI.
If I were to implement these 2 features and they worked without problems, would you be interested in merging my changes with your code?
Use this category to discuss anything related to the development of Guayadeque.
