Gstreamer error with wma song

Post by lylambda » Tue Feb 15, 2011 3:14 pm

In the last svn version (or just last before), a Gstreamer error seem happen when wma song is starting to be read.
During some seconds (about 10), the song is played. Then this song is deleted on the playlist and Guayadeque pass to the next. But during few time, the two songs play together.
If the next is a wma, the bug will occur once again.

I attach the terminal exits. You can see the Gstreamer error at 19:21:24 (line 39).

Gstreamer error with wma song

Post by anonbeat » Tue Feb 15, 2011 3:36 pm

That is a gstreamer error reported by the gstreamer engine. There is nothing guayadeque can do.
If you consider that the file is correct and its a gstreamer bug you should report the bug to the gstreamer developers. Dont forget that wma is not the best format to be played on linux and that it is a micro$oft audio format.
You can also try to convert it to another format using the guayadeque Copy To functionality.

Thanks for your help
