Hi Anon!
Since I have some problem in reproducing mp3 in my iPod shuffle (don't know why, iPod can't read some mp3s at all) I have decided to force the conversion to aac (m4a).
It takes some minutes to convert just one song and copy to the device!!!
I have try with soundconverter, with the same file and it takes some seconds to do this (I think this is a normal time).
Could you check this?
Thanks

AAC (m4a) conversion incredible slow!!!!!
Furthermore... there is a big problem with the quality!!!
I try with similar settings (quality set to normal)
The file created by guayadeque is a little bigger then that created by soundconverter... but its quality is far less good!!!
You can download them from here!

One comment, since guayadeque needs gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse I think the user have to be warned if this is not present in the system!!!
