Player and album browser don't show artist name, title or track.

When using GNOME extension "Media player indicator" Guayadeque seems to have the same bug like VLC etc.:
"Track position is not updated correctly
Some players do not send the MPRIS "Seeked" signal so the extension can't update the position slider when the song is seeked from the extension or the player." https://github.com/eonpatapon/gnome-she ... ediaplayer

Guayadeque 0.3.7- from the Ubuntu Software Center
Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 (GNOME-shell 3.18.1)
Ubuntu MATE 15.10

I was afraid that he would be too busy to maintain Guayadeque. I'm sure it's worth to wait for his new project, but in the meantime... I mean we are all spoiled by Guayadeque , aren't we? Who seriously wants to use Rhythmbox again? :-)

yes, we are. I really hope that the new one will be on the same level of greatness.
Meanwhile, try gmusic browser. Light years behind G but still far better than any of those "beautiful" players with less function and possibilities than a CD player from 2 decades ago.

I'm trying "Shimmer for gmusicbrowser", it's a pimped-up gmusicbrowser.
