Why only the first stanza of the lyrics?

Post by Fangorn »

Hello.

I am wondering why Guayadeque downloads only the first stanza of the lyrics for each song, usually the first four lines.
I looked for any way to change this behavior from 'Configure lyrics preferences' but it is only possible to add lyrics sources and to choose the targets for the lyrics.

Is this behavior embedded in Guayadeque? I noticed only the lyrics not divided in stanzas are downloaded entirely.

This usually happens when the source is letras.mus.br, not when the source is lyrics.wikia.com for instance.

Please give me a example of a track that shows that behavior.

Thanks for your help

Here's a short list with the name of the song and the interpreter. All the lyrics come from letras.mus.br:

More than a feeling - Boston
Gypsy eyes - Jimi Hendrix
Come on let's go - Richie Valens
You're so fine - Wilson Pickett
Borne on the wind - Roy Orbison
Back in the USA - Chuck Berry
Me and Bobby Mc Gee - Janis Joplin
Where have all the flowers gone - Marlene Dietrich
Jenny, Jenny - Little Richard
The midnight special - Creedence Clearwater Revival
I still haven't found what I'm looking for - U2
Love hurts - The Everly Brothers
Coconut - Harry Nilsson

Take for instance jimi Hendrix's Gypsy eyes. This is what Guayadeque collects from letras.mus.br:

Well I realize that I've been hypnotized, I love your gypsy eyes
I love your gypsy eyes
Alright!

Three lines, the first stanza. The same happens for all of them.
Another example is for instance Back in the U.S.A:

Oh well, oh well, I feel so good today,
We touched ground on an international runway
Jet propelled back home, from over the seas to the U. S. A.

That's all.
