Problem with disabled crossfading

Post by siloportem »

Hi,

I have problems with guayadeque when crossfading is disabled.
The change from the last track to the current track is done without any crossfading, like it should be.
But after the new track starts and playes normal for exactly one second, there is a short gap (for approximatly 0.5 seconds). After this gap the song continues.
It happens only after the switch to the next song, not when manually starting the song. If I enable crossfading this gap does not occure.

I have tested a bit further and found out that this only happens with music in flac format (but all the time). With mp3-music there is no gap. Since nearly my whole music collection consists of flac-music, this is a big problem for me.

Does anyone have the same problem. It is really annoying if a song starts playing and stops after one second for a short time.
I dont like crossfading so it would be nice if there is another solution for this.

I have tried it with the current stable 0.3.5 and with the latest release from svn (revision 1882).
