Update/Rescan library

It happens to me that sometimes, when I try to just update the library, a full rescan starts!

This morning for example, I have used the "send to" function, to copy new albums from my usb key to the library (which is stored on an usb HD). When I come back to the library the new albums were not listed, so I decided to start an update... a full scan started! The strange thing is that when I start guayadeque for the first time this morning (2 minutes before) it correctly do the update.

What is your library structure ? What folders got modified when you did the copy to function ?

I have my library in /media/LACIE/Musica

From pen drive I used a "send to" with pattern {a}/{y} - {b}/{n}. {t}

and I select the /media/LACIE/Musica as destination folder

With that structure if you add a new artist the whole library need to be scanned

You dont need to change but its normal that if you add a new artist the root directory will change and so all above it need to be scanned.

I have make a couple of tests.

Guayadeque doesn't make a complete rescan every time I add a new artist... I will more attention to my actions, to try to understand what I do before it start a complete rescan
