How does Guadayeque work ?

Hi guys,
On the search for the best Audio Player in Linux, I found Guayadeque.
It seems promising, but I would have several questions.
1°) Is it still developped or is it another of those abandoned projects ?
2°) I have a severe problem in understanding how the file list works.
- If I double click an album it is added to the playlist. So I can see the tracks are added. I would assume that hitting the "Next" button would jump to the next track. It just erases the next track... and doesn't play it
- If I doule click a track, I think it would play and replace the currently playing song. It does not unless the current playing track is stopped. then I can double-click the thing to play.
So either this is normal and then it is not super intuitive according to me
Or this is a bug and then I would like to know if there's a way to fix it...
Regards.
