how to scale for 4k display

I'm running cinnamon linux mint 19.01 on a 4k monitor. I have everything scaled so It looks really nice. When I installed Guayadeque, and opened it, I was unable to configure it, because of severe scaling issues. Any way to scale this app so I can use it?
Thanks, Rich

Did you try to set

GDK_SCALE

(as noted on: https://wiki.gnome.org/HowDoI/HiDpi)?

You can test it also on a Full HD screen if you use the scaling of your OS. If scaling is turned to 200%, Guayadeque looks really weird.

Would be amazing if this could be enhanced. Thanks a lot.
