Tracks being automatically rated 5 stars

I've noticed that many tracks are rated at 5 stars even when I'm sure I didn't do it and they weren't rated before.
I don't know how to reproduce the bug but maybe someone else has also noticed it and can add some information.
I'll keep an eye on it.

That happens to me when I move already rated tracks to other folder.

I'm trying to pinpoint the problem. I think it has something to do with the last.fm panel but not sure how.

After some tests, I can say, that the bug happens only with not played and rated tracks. Therefore, I rated all my new music manually with zero stars and everything is fine. Since that, I have no automatically rated tracks.

I forgot something: I can not confirm, that the bug happened after changing the file-paths as kovtunos wrote. Enabled or disabled Last.FM-panel has no effect too. The automatically rating happened not immediately, but after closing and re-opening guayadeque.
But as I wrote above, If you rate never played tracks manually (and this can be 0 stars), the player keeps this rating.

I think in my case they were songs that I've never played before and it started happening after I rated one, but as you say you only notice the new rating after updating the library.

I could reproduced it.
First I chose and album that I checked had no popularmeter tag (that is where play counts and ratings are stored). I played the first song and rated it 4 stars and let the player run. When the album finished I updated the library and found that many songs were rated 5 stars. The ones that were not rated contain the non-ascii charactes á,í and ú.

I was runing it in gdb but since it's the ppa version it doesn't have all the debug information. I got this while running it:
