ofcoz. by the way, the version code in debian wheezy is 0.3.1~dfsg0-1

That backtrack doesnt help much. The guayadeque you used was not compied with debug symbols.

Can you try if using my ppa package guayadeque-svn solves the problem please ?

Yes, the svn version works, as edgarkls suggested. It is yet not in debian depos.
