Theming Guayadeque

Post by WishingStar »

First of all thanks to anonbeat for the GREAT job you've done with guayadeque so far. It is by far the most superior and feature-rich player for linux, period.

I have a suggestion and a question: the suggestion is to make guayadeque themable (as in the images for play/pause, etc..., as well as the guayadeque logo). It would make the experience of guayadeque even better when it's well integrated into the desktop environment and icon themes and colors.

My question is that, for now, what do I need to do to make this integration happen? All i need is to replace the images for the player part (play/pause, stop, etc...) and the guayadeque icon that appears in the taskbar (I'm using the svn version on kubuntu natty) Could you please let me know what image files i need to replace to make this work?

Thanks a lot anonbeat, and keep up the wonderful work :)

That is a feature planned for the future. You will be able to change colours and images in the player.
Right now the images are integrated into the player and so it cant be changed.

Thanks for your help
