http://guayadeque.org/forums/index.php? ... installing

you have to install from svn. If you have ppa I think you have to remove it

Outside of my skill level... I'll wait.. it does work better and more stable in 11.04 and because I had a saved layout from 10.10 I was able to load it... I just can't tweak it anymore... Thanks

The version guayadeque-svn from my ppa should be now 0.3.2-1647

Remember 0.3.2 is right now a work in progress till 0.3.3 is released. It have been added some minor changes in the equalizer and fixed Lyrics load from file.

Ok! I Think I solved the problem!

I'm using guayadeque compiled from svn.

In the guayadeque svn folder type

make clean
sudo make uninstall

then rebuild guayadeque end install it.

This solve my problem!

It might look daunting but all you have to do is copy and paste the instructions on a terminal in the given order. It really is as simple as that

one thing i noticed recently is if i have guay' open in fullscreen mode on my monitor, and later open it on my laptop screen it comes up in the fullscreen monitor size!
is there any way to have it auto-resize to fit the screen on startup?
oh and i am using ubuntu 11.04 with gnome-shell, it also does this in unity, i just checked.
