Guayadeque Music Player

I recently switched distros after using ubuntu for years and after trying many different ones I settled on sabayon. The good news is that guayadeque is available but it's version 0.25. Any chance of updating this anytime soon? This has become my favorite player and I miss the newer versions and all of the improvements.

I only provide packages for Ubuntu via my ppa. For what I have read sabayon is based on Gentoo and there is gentoo packages but I dont knwo if that is an option or not as I never used Gentoo or Sabayon.
