Thank you!

Post by M0t0rcity_Dave »

I just wanted to say a big thank you for this music player and for the fact that I can finally manage my iPod without Windows/iTunes.

When I first migrated to Ubuntu in 2009, I tried my iPod Classic with Rhythmbox, Banshee and Amarok. Variously they either didn't recognise my iPod, wiped all the covers or just wouldn't transfer new music to it.

Since then, I've been using iTunes on WinXP via Virtualbox which has been fine but sloooowww.

Today I read that Guayadeque now has iPod support, so I upgraded and now can use my iPod on it; covers and playlists all fine too. It's much faster than iTunes and means I don't have to boot up XP. So pleased!!

If I could ask one thing it would be that the tabs for my iPods library & playlists open automatically when the player is attached but not a big issue, it's the work of seconds to add them.

Once again, thank you guys!
