Startting with XX plugins were newly installed ones and now I am able to play mp3 files too. Thanks a lot Annonbeat and Lysias.

G-Deque is just few steps behind Foobar

1>Ability to rip and burn cds;
2>Ability to convert music files;
3>CUE sheet support;
4>Skinning;
5>Just like Full Screen view, add another view where just currently playing song, album and its tracks are displayed with a downloaded/custom fan art in the back ground{like xbmc}; This view should be accessible when playing songs only.
6>ipod and other PD connectivity...

thats it..we can say good bye to foobar2000 and cplay

2, 5, 6 are already implemented

1 and 3 are very probably it will come one day

4 guess that will not come at least anytime soon

2) To convert you need to configure the Copy To options to do it. Go to Preferences -> Copy To and add as many convertion options you want. This formats will be accesible from the context menus into the 'Copy to entry'.

5) You can arrange the interface elements to be at the position you want. For example

6) When you connect your portable device a new entry will appear into the Portable device View menu or if you have showning the Sources window under the Devices section. Double click over it to open it.

2- When you use the copy to feature you choose the format, or you can call "soundconverter" on selected tracks from guayadeque y convert the files in the same folder
5-I think you could configure something similar but not quite
6-yes this is implemented. View>Portable Devices.....

1-You can burn cds calling on Brasero or other from guayadeque
