A Big Thank You!

Post by eeliottheking »

I have to give a big thank you to the developers of guayadeque. I've been a long time linux user and have gone through tons of different audio managers (exaile, amarok, rythmbox, songbird, etc.) and I have to say that guayadeque is easy to use and just "works". Thank you guys for your amazing development and I hope to see some awesome new features in the future. :goes to donate: :)

I got a laptop recently and I transferred some of my library into it. In the laptop guayadeque manages nearly 10000 tracks installed on Ubuntu 10.10 64 bits. So far Guayadeque has consistently stayed between 35 and 50 Mb of memory. It starts in seconds and it is always snappy. It does gray out when doing some biggish batch operation but this is obviously more to do with processor power. Overall the experience is really light and smooth. New features don't seem to weigh guayadeque down.

A very happy user here. Thanks for your job anonbeat
